How the music industry works.

A Commissioner is some one who will work for record labels,
they would then send a track that they think is successful to a number of different directors.
The directors will then come up with unique and eye catching ideas for the promotion of the music video, and then send their ideas back to the Commissioner.
All the directors are still unpaid at this point.
The directors who sends back the most interesting idea,
and that they feel works for the video is then selected and given a
 budget to make the video and this is what the Director will now be paid for.
For many Directors in this competitive business,
 their uniqueness and liveliness is dependent on each commission.
