This Is my Final Video,
Chloe Howl - Rumour

This is the magazine advert, for the album
release, I made for my music video.

DigiPak

This is my DigiPak,
for my Music Promo Video.

Question 4:How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

Evaluation Question 3: What have you learnt from your audience feedback?

To try and get some individual audience feedback, I posted my video on a site call WallWisher, and left it to other anonymous people to leave their feedback.
Alot of them were all positive, with the exception of a few that left feedback with possible improvements. Doing this allowed me to asses how successful the video is.

After doing this I found that the colours and editing was the most impressive and appealing part of the video. It caught peoples eye and kept people engaged.

All of the people that posted praised the video in one way or another, confirming that the video was an overall success.

One of the comments raised an issue with age.

There was purposely no narrative or meaning to the video, I was just trying to create something abstract and different to go along with the beat of the song.

Another issue was the lip syncing at the begining, the lip singing was out of time and really hard to match it up to disguise it.

Using the lyrics on screen appeared to be popular, and I was advised that putting more in there would have been more effective.

Evaluation Question 2: How effective is the Combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

To find out how effective the combination of my music video, magazine advert and digipak was, I made a survey on www.surveymonkey.com where I asked questions to try and get an average of what people thought about it.
I left out questions about gender, height, shoe size and personal questions like that.
But I did ask a question about age to see what the video etc was more appealing to and to find out a target audience.

This is was my survey,

I had an even amount of people answer the questions giving me a better average.

After looking at the results between the mag advert and the digipak,
the results are showing some faults in the digipak, more so than the advert.

The resulst are showing that the style of the advert and digipak are both eye catching and effective.

More answers where yes then no, meaning that the digipak
and the advert being together was successful.

No one answered no, so I think the advertisement was successful.

No one suggested any major changes or improvements.

I think the main link between them would be the bright colours.

On average my music video was rated quite good, no one voted poor.

I can confidently say that having the combination of the Magazine advert
and Digipak, promoted the video very well.
The bright colours seemed to attract an audience well, and i think that the people that answered the survey positively where most likely the younger age groups, as I feel they
would be more attracted to the adverts.
